Office Administrator

Wicklow Calf Company are looking to recruit an Office Administrator to help with the smooth running of our office in Co. Wicklow.

November Start - Full Time Position

Salary - Competitive Hourly Rate

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • General Office Administration duties using a range of computer software, including Gmail, Word, Excel, etc.

  • Assist in managing the phones and direct calls to the appropriate point of contact, taking messages when necessary.

  • Monitoring and checking stock on a regular basis.

  • Assisting in the promoting and sales of our products over the phone and through our website.

  • Assist in recording and managing livestock sales and movements alongside our experienced office manager.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in an office role working across the administration and reception departments.

  • Computer literate, experience in using Sage is an advantage*.

  • Excellent phone manner and customer service skills.

  • Highly organised with the ability to plan and prioritise your work.

  • Good communication, a keen eye to detail and the willingness to learn and develop skills.

  • A good work ethic, bright and ambitious.

  • An ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.

  • Own means of transportation to get to and from work as the office is located in the countryside.

    *Experience is preferable but certain computer software training will be provided.
